The PPS-2020 is a powerful table top system conceived, designed and developed with the goal of cutting down the time from PCB design to prototyping. With a high speed 24000 rpm spindle that enables milling, drilling and routing of PCBs, electronic engineers now have a cost effective way of trying out their ideas – no more waiting for PCBs to be ordered, Gerber issues to be resolved, and co-ordintation with vendors.
The PPS-2020 system offers high speed of operation and good accuracy and repeatability.
The spindle is equipped with an ER11 collet – thus tools upto 5 mm diameter can be used. Axis motors are powerful, and hence can accommodate heavy loads without compromising on the accuracy. Front bezels in Aluminum and Plastics can be cut easily.
The system, built with suitable precision ball screws and LM guides, offers very high accuracy of 20 microns and a resolution of 5 microns. Ergonomic acrylic cover is provided for dust protection and noise reduction.
WinPCB software supplied is a user friendly tool that reads Excellon files, allows setting up of jobs with different job reference settings – it also runs world standard G/M codes allowing CAM output from any source to be used on the system. The software has enhanced features found only on high-end machines.
